Coming to Christ

Giving Your Life to Jesus

Put your trust in Jesus Christ before it is too late!

Jesus is coming back soon for all who trust in Him.

The rest will be left behind

Jesus said: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”

John 3:3

First the Bad News

Whether you like it or not, there are big issues facing the world that will affect your life (see opposite). World events are moving rapidly to a climax and the end of this age. Over the last 50 years we have seen rapid population growth, the emergence of a New World Order, an undemocratic EU, cashless trading, international terrorism, an apostate church, the rejection of biblical morality, extreme weather events, and increasing national debt.

And perhaps most significantly, we have seen the emergence of the nation of Israel.

Crowded cities

These Bible prophecies are being fulfilled before our eyes! At the very end of this age i.e. soon, the Bible says Jesus Christ will return to earth in order to:

If you do not believe i.e. you consciously reject Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour, then you will not be gathered together with other believers. You will be left to suffer God’s judgements upon a godless and morally bankrupt world. In all probability you will die without ever knowing real life and a real relationship with the Creator God. And you will then face the final judgement:

He who believes in Him [Christ] is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already (John 3:18)

Your name will not be written into God’s ‘Book of Life’:

If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire (Rev 20:15)

To many this seems harsh. But a holy, just, and moral God must also judge all acts of immorality, injustice and rebellion against Him. The world has forgotten the Ten Commandments!

Now The Good News
Coming to God through Jesus Christ

Even in the midst of world chaos you can have peace – a peace that only God gives. Jesus came into the world so that each of us can get right with a holy, just and moral God:

coming to Christ
“If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8 verse 36)

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16)

There are no strings. Jesus died on a Roman cross to show God’s love for each one of us. And His resurrection is one of the best attested facts in history: Jesus lives and wants to be our Saviour and our friend.

If we totally trust in Jesus we will be set free like a bird. Jesus said ‘you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free’ (John 8:32).

Millions of people around the world from all different backgrounds find miracle healing, forgiveness and love through Jesus. Read life-changing testimonies.

Let Jesus change your life too!

It’s simple, but be genuine and honest about what you are doing. It might help to look up the following Bible verses. You simply have to believe that Jesus lives (Acts 1:9), admit that you have done wrong things and thought wrong thoughts in the sight of a holy God (Romans 3:23), ask Jesus for His forgiveness through His sacrifice for you on the cross (John 3:16), and then ask Him to come and change your life. And He will – hundreds of millions of Christians can testify to this.

If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9)

What happens next?

  • Your new life will be like being ‘born again’ (John 3:3)
  • Your name will be written in heaven, in Jesus’ Book of Life (Luke 10:20)
  • You will start a relationship with the one true God – the God of the Bible, the God of Israel, the Creator of all things (Romans 8:15)
  • You will receive the ‘Spirit of Truth’ (God’s Spirit) to help you live your new life and to teach you truth. God’s word is truth – so pick up a Bible and start to read Jesus’ words in John chapter 3
  • You need not fear death since you will live on after death, to be forever with Jesus and with God your heavenly Father
  • You will also start to understand world events and you need not fear what is happening to the world. You can claim that special peace in your life that only Jesus gives

Now stand on the promises of the risen Christ

I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20)
My peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives … Do not let your heart be troubled, nor be fearful (John 14:27)

Got Questions? Who is this “Jesus”?

The person we are talking about walked the earth some 2,000 years and wasn’t called “Jesus”. His main language was Aramaic (closely related to Hebrew) and was called by His Hebrew name Yeshua (ישוע ). So how did we get to the English name “Jesus”?

The Hebrew verb “yasha” is the key. It means to rescue, to deliver, to make free, to heal, and to save. Even if we don’t realize it, this is what many of us seek in life. Now, from yasha comes the Hebrew word “yeshua”, and from yeshua comes the proper name “Yeshua”, meaning salvation (the Hebrew for salvation is very similar to the Hebrew for Yeshua). But the New Testament was originally written in Greek, where Yeshua translates to “Iesous”. And translating this into English we get “Jesus”. So, Jesus is Yeshua, or Yeshua is Jesus.

Now, in Isaiah 12 verse 2 we read “God has become my salvation”, or “my Yeshua” in the Jewish Bible. In other words, God has become my Jesus, my salvation. Put another way: Jesus is our saviour God in human form.

Here’s a great song for your new life. Walk and talk with Jesus every day of your life:
